  8. Orbison's, a guy can't go wrong, right? Wrong. CHRIS ISAAK has
  9. such qualities, but it took three albums to get them fully
  10. appreciated. The pompadoured crooner's latest album, Heart
  11. Shaped World, foundered before being tapped by director David
  12. Lynch, who used a version of Isaak's song Wicked Game for the
  13. sound track of his film Wild at Heart. That sparked disk jockeys
  14. to play the original. Now even Bruce Springsteen wants tickets
  15. to Isaak's concerts. But success has changed Isaak, 34. "I comb
  16. my hair all the time now," he says, "and when I go out, I put
  17. on a clean T shirt."
